At Yahweh, education is more than academics, it’s a calling. We believe every child is created with purpose, and our mission is to nurture that purpose through Christ centered learning that shapes the whole person: mind, heart, and spirit.
In our classrooms, students don’t just study subjects , they discover their potential. With dedicated teachers, a loving environment, and a strong spiritual foundation, children are equipped with the knowledge, values, and confidence they need to thrive in life and faith.
From the smallest learner to the oldest student, we teach with excellence, guided by God’s Word and empowered by prayer. Our vision is to raise a generation that can lead with wisdom, serve with humility, and shine with the light of Christ in Bugoba and beyond.

At Yahweh Tendereza, we believe a child’s education should do more than prepare them for exams. It should prepare them for life.
Our school in Bugoba serves children from nursery right through to primary seven level, offering a learning environment where academic work and character development go hand in hand. We follow the Uganda National Curriculum, and our teachers are committed to making sure every child leaves each year with a solid foundation in literacy, numeracy, and the core subjects that will carry them forward.
But we have always believed that what happens in the classroom is only part of the story.
Faith at the Centre
Yahweh Tendereza is a Christ-centered school, and that shapes everything we do, from how our teachers relate to students, to how we handle conflict, to the values we intentionally build into school life every day. Children here grow up understanding that they are known and loved by God, and that this gives them a dignity and a purpose that no exam result can give or take away.
We are not trying to produce students who simply know about faith. We want young people who live it, who are honest, who serve others, and who carry something real with them when they walk out of our gates.
What We Teach
Our curriculum covers all core subjects required by the Ministry of Education, including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Religious Education. Lessons are taught in a warm, structured environment where children are encouraged to ask questions, think carefully, and do their best.
Beyond academics, students take part in co-curricular activities including sports, music, and community events that round out their development and give them space to discover their gifts.
Who We Are Shaping
The children sitting in our classrooms today are from Bugoba and the surrounding communities. Many come from families facing real hardship. Some are sponsored through our partnerships with donors and well-wishers who believe, as we do, that every child deserves a quality education regardless of their background.
We take that trust seriously. We work hard to make sure that every child who comes through our doors is seen, is taught well, and is sent out better equipped not just to earn a living, but to contribute meaningfully to their families, their community, and their country.
A School That Cares
Education at Yahweh is not a transaction. It is a relationship. Our teachers know their students by name. Our administrators know the families. When a child is struggling academically, at home, or in any other way, we notice, and we do something about it.
That is the kind of school we are committed to being. Not perfect, but present. Not just delivering a curriculum, but investing in children.
We are raising the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and servant hearts right here in Bugoba.
Your generosity opens doors for children who might never have this opportunity. Every gift sows into a life, a family, a future.

For $21 a month, support a student’s full education journey and become part of their story of success.

$1.50 each daily meal keeps a child in school, focused, healthy, and ready to learn.

Your gift helps us expand, giving more children and staff a safe and inspiring place to serve and to grow.
It takes a village to raise a child and you’re part of that village. Whether you’re giving time, resources, or prayer, your support makes a lasting impact.
At Yahweh Tendereza, we believe the Gospel of the Lord should be seen and heard through love, action, and truth.
